Our pre-order model:
- Order Collection: During the first 21 days following the launch of a new product, we collect orders and purchase the required raw materials. In return for the longer lead time, customers receive a 30% discount on the collection.
- Production: Our artisanal studios guarantee production within 14 days.
- Shipping: Final product is shipped in 2-3 working days.
- At the end of the pre-order, all items remain available at standard prices on our site.
Made to order production
When the pre-order is up, Risvolta produces exclusively on a made-to-order basis: items are produced only if purchased.
Since we have stored raw materials we are able to guarantee a 14 days production-time. Thanks to close co-design with local artisans, we can produce even a single item, embracing a “One piece Flow” production.
We go against the traditional Make to Stock procedure which manages bigger production lots in order to reduce costs of production; hoping for all the items to be sold. The main downwards are the high storage costs and the potentially numerous unsold wares.
On the contrary, we follow the Slow Fashion philosophy, an alternative to the dominant disposable fashion. Instead of following fast-fashion production patterns, we choose to slow our pace and treasure each production phase, from the design to the realization.
